California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)

Last updated: [DATE]

Who this notice covers

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents who visit our Site, apply for a role, or engage with us as a candidate, in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

Categories of personal information we collect

  • Identifiers — name, email, phone number, IP address.
  • Professional / employment information — resume, work history, certifications, desired role and compensation, current employer (if provided).
  • Internet activity — pages viewed, general usage of the Site.
  • Inferences — role fit or specialty match derived from the information above, used internally to route candidates to relevant openings.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories such as Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, or biometric data through this Site.

Sources

We collect this information directly from you (forms, resume uploads, email), and, where applicable, from employer clients when a placement or interview is scheduled.

How we use it

To match candidates with roles, respond to job requests, operate the Site, and comply with legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclosure & sale of personal information

We do not sell or share (as "share" is defined under the CPRA, e.g. for cross-context behavioral advertising) personal information. We disclose personal information only to the service providers and employer clients described in our Privacy Policy, for the business purposes described there.

Your California rights

  • Right to know — what personal information we've collected, used, and disclosed about you.
  • Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (e.g. records we must retain for legal compliance).
  • Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out — of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not currently sell or share personal information, so no action is needed).
  • Right to non-discrimination — for exercising any of the above rights.

How to submit a request

Email hello@najahtalent.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request" [or list a dedicated webform / toll-free number here]. We will verify your identity before fulfilling requests to know, delete, or correct, and you may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.

Job applicants & California employment-specific notices

If you are placed by Najah Talent as a temporary or contract employee (rather than an employer client's direct hire), additional California employee/applicant privacy notices apply at the time of onboarding, consistent with the CCPA's provisions for job applicants and employees.

This page is a planning template, not legal advice. Have counsel confirm your specific CCPA/CPRA obligations — including any employee/applicant carve-outs — before relying on it.
